This building might be in a not pretty part of Plainfield but don’t be fooled! Totally secure building, spotless! Even with flooding, the NICEST staff around! And I got a really good deal when I moved in so I really can’t complain about the price. Added bonus they only raise the rent yearly instead of every couple of months or whenever they feel like it which is what happened to me in Edison. Plus this company is all over the place, you’d be crazy not to use this storage facility.

Went on a busy weekend and Ashlee was amazing - took care of everyone with sense of urgency, understood needs, friendly, accommodating, and wasn't afraid to escalate if she needed to validate something. She was the face of Access Self Storage and she really is a five star employee! Very secure lot, plenty of parking, storage unit good and clean. Took one star off because not in her control but some broken carts made it harder to grab one on a busy day and the walkways up in the storage units needed a mop but not a deal breaker.
Ashlee has been very professional, informative, helpful, and patient in answering a myriad of questions I've had regarding my scheduling a 10x20 storage unit.

Recently we moved some items into Access Self Storage of Plainfield. Just thinking about having to move stuff into storage gives me agita. However, this experience was anything but. Reserving the unit online to the day of the move was dare I say, almost "delightful". And the main reason? Shameka, the gal at the front desk who greeted us on moving day. Yes, the building was clean and the storage unit was as expected, but she went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with the unit (there are several different shapes of units even though they all measure about the same size). I can not say enough about her friendliness, professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile to make sure we were happy. Access Plainfield, you are lucky to have someone as hard working and warm as Shameka representing your business. I had made a reservation on line which they hold for you for a month at a great lock-in rate. However, I wanted to see the place in person. I just showed up yesterday and Ivan, the manager, was professional and so helpful. He took the time to show me every thing I needed to know, even though it was 4:45 PM and they close at 5:00PM on a Sunday.. Access was clean with top notch security measures for those who may need it. I have to move my dad's furniture in while he is is recouperating from an illness and I am happy to be using this facility. One less thing to worry about.

I've been using storage facilities for 20 years and just joined Access yesterday. My experience has been the best so far. Ivan was absolutely great and his fantastic customer service skills rock. I was there to pay my daughter's storage (who referred me) and sign up at a later date. However, his explaining the amenities and showing me the units convinced me to get one right then. Thanks Ivan. I know I won't be disappointed.

Our building is under 24/7 surveillance, the property is also gated and all our units are individually alarmed. You can also monitor your unit activity from our storage App.
Can I Pay Online?
Yes, we offer a pay online through our website as well as autopay which would take money directly from an account each that you can setup by clicking on My Account/Pay Online.
How much notice do I need to give prior to moving out?
We ask that you give us 30 days written notice prior to vacating your unit.
What time do I have access to my storage unit?
Access hours to our Plainfield facility are between 5am-11pm
Do I need Insurance to rent a unit?
Yes, we do require insurance which we provide convenient plans starting at just $12 a month that can be paid with your rent. You can also use your homeowner’s insurance and would need to contact your company and provide us with a proof of insurance.
